Coexpa
The Exhibition Coordination Office (COEXPA) is the department responsible for planning and organizing art exhibitions in UERJ's galleries and artistic interventions on the campuses. COEXPA is responsible for managing the exhibition spaces consisting of the Candido Portinari Gallery, the Gustavo Schnoor Gallery and the Passagem Gallery located on the Maracanã campus and the FFP Gallery on the São Gonçalo campus. In addition, COEXPA offers free mini- courses and mediated visits to the academic community and external audiences, among other educational and training activities, as well as publishing public notices for artistic occupation of its galleries and campuses.
COEXPA seeks to contribute to the production and dissemination of culture in the country, foster artistic creation and promote the role of art by cultivating dialogue with UERJ's academic and administrative units and civil society. It is one of the coordinating bodies of DECULT (UERJ's Cultural Department).
Coordenadora : Ana Tereza Prado Lopes
Adjunct professor at the Institute of Arts (IART) at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). Visual artist and curator, she has a degree in visual arts from the École Supérieure D'Art Visuel (ESAV). He has a specialization in History of Art and Architecture in Brazil and a degree in English-Portuguese translation, PUC-Rio. Doctor and master in visual arts from the Postgraduate Program in Visual Arts at the School of Fine Arts (PPGAV/EBA) at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
