Coexpa
The Exhibition Coordination Office (COEXPA) is the department responsible for planning and organizing art exhibitions in UERJ's galleries and artistic interventions on the campuses. COEXPA is responsible for managing the exhibition spaces consisting of the Candido Portinari Gallery, the Gustavo Schnoor Gallery and the Passagem Gallery located on the Maracanã campus and the FFP Gallery on the São Gonçalo campus. In addition, COEXPA offers free mini- courses and mediated visits to the academic community and external audiences, among other educational and training activities, as well as publishing public notices for artistic occupation of its galleries and campuses.
COEXPA seeks to contribute to the production and dissemination of culture in the country, foster artistic creation and promote the role of art by cultivating dialogue with UERJ's academic and administrative units and civil society. It is one of the coordinating bodies of DECULT (UERJ's Cultural Department).

PROJETO DE EXTENSÃO:
LABORATORY OF PRACTICES IN ART AND EDUCATION
This project aims to consolidate the
Practices in Art and Education, here called Educational Program,
within the Exhibition Coordination (COEXPA). The program
provides technical and theoretical training related to art education, in addition
training focused on cultural mediation practices. Furthermore, we have
the purpose of carrying out mediated visits and other activities
educational activities parallel to the COEXPA/DeCult exhibitions, outlining
partnerships with state and municipal schools and other institutions
located around the State University of Rio de Janeiro,
Maracanã campus, where the Candido Portinari and
Gustavo Schnoor.

Administrative organization
The Arts Exhibition Coordination is one of the sectors that make up the UERJ Cultural Department and is linked to the Pró-Reitoria de Extensão e Cultura (PR3). It is the unit responsible for the administration and production of art exhibitions at Galerias da Passagem, Gustavo Schnoor and Candido Portinari, located on the UERJ Maracanã Campus.
